Day 2: Times Square – Radio City Music Hall – The Rockettes – Little Italy
Following breakfast, discover the unique sights and sounds of New York City with an expert local guide. See Times Square, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Rockefeller Center and the posh East side. Then, experience the electricity and the holiday decorations of Times Square as you enjoy lunch on your own. Next, come see one of the nation’s leaders in producing and marketing live entertainment, Radio City Music Hall. Home to the Christmas Spectacular, we will go behind the scenes of the “Showplace of the Nation” on a guided tour. You will discover art deco masterpieces, learn the history of the iconic Great Stage and even meet a Rockette. For almost a century, the Rockettes have been American icons. They have appeared at Radio City Music Hall in hundreds of stage spectaculars, and have participated in many historic and memorable events—like joining the USO and traveling abroad to entertain the troops and support wartime effort, and performing at the inauguration of the 43rd president of the United States, George W. Bush, in 2001. Now sit back and enjoy the Christmas Spectacular, is a one-of-a-kind celebration that brings together family, friends, and loved ones. The Rockettes dazzle in brilliant dance numbers and Radio City is aglow with the joy of the season. Follow Santa on his sleigh ride, see ice skaters swirl across the stage, and catch a snowflake or two in this immersive theatrical experience like no other. No one says Merry Christmas quite like the Rockettes! Enjoy an included dinner this evening in Little Italy (B, D)
Day 3: NBC Studios – South Street Seaport – Broadway Show
Have your fill of breakfast (you need the energy today!) and reboard our coach for Rockefeller Center and NBC Studios. Recently redesigned to create a state-of-the-art experience, you’ll enjoy behind-the-scenes access to the studios where your favorite shows are made. Like Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers and more. An NBC page will serve as your host and behind-the-scenes expert, guiding you through the historic halls of 30 Rock. You’ll learn about the entire TV production process, from the writing process and producing to the ways TV content gets to your home. Next, there will be free time for shopping and lunch on your own at South Street Seaport. South Street Seaport is a historic area in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is centered where Fulton Street meets the East River, and adjacent to the Financial District. It is comprised of old brick buildings, converted warehouses, Belgian-block streets and boat slips and is peppered with places to shop and eat. At Ellen’s Stardust Diner, sit back and be entertained by singing waiters (future stars of stage and screen) while they serve your favorite dish for dinner this evening. The Great White Way is your final destination for the night for a Broadway Show (to be announced when theater schedule is confirmed) (B, D)
