Eligibility

Clark County residents age 60 and better are eligible to participate in USS In-Home Services. USS In-Home Services include Case Management, Homemaker, Personal Care, and Respite Care.

Referrals for services are accepted from many sources and can be made confidentially and anonymously. All potential clients are screened by telephone and assessed in-person, in the home.

These services are available to people qualified by a comprehensive assessment which includes activities of daily living, mobility, and financial need. Those with the highest need are prioritized for services.

USS services are voluntary and do not require a contract. A sliding income scale based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines is used to calculate suggested donations, but no one is denied service due to inability to pay.

Every effort is made to provide services on a set schedule that clients can count on. The frequency of services depends on each client’s individual needs, the availability of aides, and the terms of grant subsidies.

Case Management, Homemaker, Personal Care, and Respite Services
